Next week Tuesday we will be having a huge outdoor boutique at my house in my front yard! I am so excited because we have 10 vendors who will be in attendance selling things ranging from accessories to designer baby boy onsies to purses and wallets to yummy homemade jam and gourmet cup cakes- and of course there is so much more! We always have a great turn out and we thank those of you who support our boutique efforts. Please spread the word- maybe my blogging friends could advertise for me on facebook since I don't have a fb account:)

New from our Launch Party

Tonight was our first official Launch Party. Though we have been working on this little vinyl company for a year we hadn't done anything official to introduce it. It is a lot harder than it seems to make a creative business work. It has been a huge learning experience and I'm sure it will continue to be so.

This is in my son's room as well as the one below.
I bought the magnat board at Roberts, painted the wood, then slapped on the vinyl "all boy" circle ad added a couple of homemade magnets.
This was for my neice: Leialoha- Always kiss me goodnight. I like this twist, usually this phrase has bee used ove a master bed. $20

For my friends in Cali- Downs- We may not have it all together . . . but together we have it all. $20.

New Colors and new sample

Okay, I promise to try to scan in a sample page of the vinyl colors that we offer but for now this is the best I can do. Hopefully if you click on it and enlarge the picture you will be able to read some of the names. The specialty colors are slightly more expensive. P.S. Does anyone know how to rotate pictures?

The last is a board I made for my in laws awhile ago. You can customize anything using any language. I think that is a nice thing to offer because I would never have found a sign in Hawaiian. This one happens to say, Family, Live with love and laughter. My camera still sucks, so sorry about the pictures. Ohana board- $20

I know it can be hard to decide if you want to order something when the price isn't listed next to the item. This happens a lot in this vinyl business because most of our orders are custom made so we don't really have a price list. So, I thought I would list the prices on these items that I just had made for my kids. Remember that my photography is less than professional.

10x10 vinyl lettering $10.00* plus 12x12 tile = $13.00

6.5 x 24 in. = &10.50* (vinyl only)

12.5 x 12.5 in = $10.50* (this is meant to overlap, I'll post a picture when it is mounted.)
11.5 X 11 = $10.00*

Did you know that vinyl can go straight onto the wall and then removed at a later date without causing a single bit of damage? This makes hanging your favorite phrases in the office or classroom supremely easy. Its always nice to have motivational words in sight.

Etching with Vinyl

Okay, now I think that this is really fun! We used the vinyl as a template to create these etched designs. They are so hard to photograph. They are much easier to see in person. When you do an etched design they are bake proof, microwave proof and dishwasher safe. The first one says: "Baked with love from Amy's Kitchen"
The first plate says: "Gobble 'till You Wobble" with a very cute turkey in the center.
The last plate: "Harvest Blessings"
We have many more secret designs in the works:)

I can't take credit for the first four vinyl crafts or the Family Home Evening sign (Unfortunately I can claim the poor photography. Sorry about the flashes being in all the wrong spots!) These are more examples of all the creative ideas out there. Yes, you can even detail your car with it. That van happens to be advertising information for a carpet cleaning business and was the reason my friend bought her vinyl machine. She also did the operating hours and contact info on the front door of our local court house. Yes, vinyl can be used for just about anything!

The overlay on Kiera's name says, "Thank Heaven for Little Girls."

I love glass blocks! They come in all different shapes, sizes and textures. You can put any phrase you like on them and/or drill holes and fill them with lights and wrap a bow around them. They can announce any holiday or the birth of a child (ie: Gracie Lou 6lbs 7oz or Cole Andrews Dec, 7, 2007). My mom has one that is filled with Christmas lights and wrapped like a present. There are so many possibilities!
